It's a non-Claire related post!
Pete's been with us for 3 1/2 months now and, while he and Katie (my oldest) are getting along better than I anticipated, Gracie (6) still hisses, growls and swats at him pretty regularly. Sometimes it's when he's playing too enthusiastically, so I understand the reaction. Other times, it's unprovoked. He'll just walk past her and she go after him. He occasionally swats her back or turns around and walks away. Doesn't seem to bother him. Pete is the first cat (other than Katie who preceeded Gracie) that she's been around much. We did the introductions slowly and followed the guidelines. Just wondering if I can expect their relationship to improve over time, or is this it? I just hate seeing Gracie so upset. Is this a situation where Feliway might help? Any other suggestions?
Thanks!
