A feral cat had 3 kittens by my house about 1 week ago (she moved them today). I noticed when she wasn't there that one of the kittens appears t have deformed front paws (I am not sure if she will be able to walk ok them). will the mother abandon her when the time comes? I already have a mentally handicapped kitten that I got from the colony. I am in the process of trapping and s/n them and returning them but I guess I am not fast enough. My concern is will she abandon the kitten when she realized it is not normal? I have a general idea to were she moved them to, should I just keep checking on her? any help would be appreciated.

How do you mean deformed? If there are extra toes that is not a deformity. If the toes are missing or there are open wounds the kitty needs a vet quickly. Sounds like the colony is inbreeding year after year after year.

no it's toes are fine.
her front paws go out sideways next to her body (not under) and are always bent in an "L" position - if this helps.
