Phew. Well, I got Tessa 3 weeks ago. So far, her vet bills are $450! :-) Tonight's prescriptions are:

A tougher antibiotic (the tech tells me it's raspberry flavored and stains EVERYTHING) for her still going upper respiratory infection.

A decongestant in pill form (which is going to be fun to give her, I'm sure!)

Ear drops for the yeast infection she has in her ears.

Ear wash for the same reason.

And, starting as soon as the vet can figure out how to order it, Interferon daily for her feline leukemia.

She tested positive on the IFA which apparently means she's more likely to be persistently infected than to shake it off. (95-5 chance) BUT, as I told the vet, it's a good week for long shots.

Meanwhile, she's starting to not like being cooped in our room and keeps trying to escape. But as long as we hang out in there she's happy to crawl all over us and play and purr and generally be the greatest kitty ever.

So, who cares about the rest of it, really?
