And BTW, when you go to buy your own computer for home, I strongly recommend looking at Dell's! I love my Dell and it cost a lot less than most people think!
No I am fine. When I shop for my computer, I have to go to the store as I have no credit card and I don't want one. Dells are fine? I was going to get either a Gateway or Compaq, but If the Dell works, then I hope I see one at the stores. Sears only sell Compaqs.
I configured the same system as my Dell over at Gateway and it was WAY more expensive! So I can't recommend paying that much for a Gateway.
Dell has an "E-check" option where you give them a number from one of your checks and they can process your order that way. I walways prefer toshop for big things online as I can compare different products at the push of a button. Compaqs are nice too. You can also get those at Radio Shacks.

So, how do I put it on the side?
Save it to your compuer (somewhere it can easily be found, like just to the desktop or documents folder)
Then go to User CP --> Edit Options. Down at the bottom is the Avatar area. Just click the link to change your avatar and down at the bottom of that page is the area to upload your own avatar. Click the browse button and select the picture you saved!
