I just have to share. I LOVE this stuff. I read a tip about it here on Catsites. and decided to try it. And I Just LOVE IT. My house doesnt smell like "there is a cat here" now. like it did with the scoopy stuff, there is no tracking, and its pretty much dust free. The cats switched over easily, and love it too. I just have to keep it a little deeper for dutchy..she likes to dig alot, lol.Even the kittens are useing it like pro's!

I got the slightly sented softer pellet kind
and its a go for them

Awesome.

I have been thinking about switching over to it because it is dust free and one of my cats is bothered by the dust and gets sick from it. I was just wondering howw long a bag lasts before having to be dumped and fresh litter put into it.

I just don't know if my cats would like the transition. =\\

Well i am not sure how long one bag will last we are on our first full bag
I can let you know. Of course I have ALOT of kitties, lol 5 adults and 6 kittens right now. Will be down to four on saturday (kittens)

i used one full bag last night to completely fill all of my boxes to the extra thick that all the kids like.

Transition wise, one bag lasted me several weeks.

I've been using Yesterday's News for quite some time now. I really like it and Sash has no probleme using it either. I buy a 13 lb bag (unscented/softer texture) and it lasts me three weeks, I change the entire box once a week and scoop once or twice a day. I never notice any problems with odor. Good luck!

I bought some for my bunny and then she finally started using her litter box! It's great. For the rabbit I have to change it every three days. I'm thinking about switching the cats over to it as well, because the rabbit likes to use their litterboxes. It does great with the very icky smell of rabbit urine, so I'm sure it's great with cat urine.

I just tried this for my new kitten and I love it! I was wondering what others thought about it and whether it was cost effective. My kitten is on day 2 with it. I love how there is no dust.

Its wonderfull
Glad you like it. I find it pretty cost effective. I pay 10.99-11.99 for a large bag. it lasted 2 1/2 to 3 weeks in that range with my cats. Of course I have..5 adults right now, and four kittens. so we use alot of litter
but the smell control Alone is worth it,as well as the health for my critters..and no dust and much lower tracking.

When I took my Bellie to get fixed they wanted me to buy a small bag of Yesterdays news at the vets (7 bucks out) and said "well its better for her post surgery" I smiled and said "I know I already use it"
