My Jazz has had her ears flat to the side all day. Could she have a problem with her ears? She won't let me touch them and gets extremely upset when I try. The vet cleaned her ears two weeks ago. The good news is that she is still eating, but she goes off to be by herself, she usually sits with me! Her sister Maggie May is keeping an eye on her and I haven't left the house all day. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

It sounds like her ears, or something is causing her some pain. I'd take her to the vet.

Took her to the vet today. He said her ears are fine! He said it could be the medicine she is on (methamazole). She is probably stressed about taking a pill 2x a day, although I grind it up and put it in her food. Has anyone had their pets personality change from medication. She used to be so loving, now she can't be bothered! Any comments/suggestions are appreciated.

Sounds to me like she's annoyed with something. Has there been a change in routine in any way around your house? Cats like their routines.

How is the weather there? We are getting freak storms and we have noticed a couple of ours are walking around with the funny ears as well.
