Help, Does anyone know whats wrong.

I have a 9 year old black cat, he has been drinking a lot of water lately and has realy bad dandruff. I just thought it was the change of weather. I come home today and his litter box is filled with urine it is like someone put cups of water in it. Can anyone tell me anything? Has anyone had this problem with thier cat? He has a cyst under his left arm, I won't let anyone operate, because I know once they do he is going to have all sorts of problems. He has been fine eats,plays and everything until now. Please Help!!!!!!

I would take him to the vet and have his total body function checked. It sounds like he may have something going on. It sounds like a possible thyroid problem or something along that line.

Sounds like a UTI (urininary tract infection). Get him to a vet. BTW, if you need a good vet in Jersey, let me know. I have lots of friends and my mom's vet (my mom is a breeder) is in Jersey.

Frannie: Could you post the name of the VET & phone # in NJ anyway - I have a VET who seems ok - but I never had any serious problems (thank god). So it would be great to know one who you consider GOOD - just in case.

i saw the post about the vet in NJ. I'm in NJ too, Southern NJ close to Delaware. My "regular" vet is in Pennsville and the emergency hospital is 15- 20 minutes away in DE. If you want that name and number I can send it to you. The Emergency place is only open from 8:00 P.M to 8 or 9 A.M. Talk about your night shift.
