My cat, BabyGirl can fetch! I love it! She will steal some of my mom's ponytail holders and then start meowing very loudly and then bring me or Jeremy (my fiance) the ponytail holder and drop it by us and then one of us will throw it and then she'll go get it! It's great. Oh how I wish I had a video camera.

Most cats will fetch. Just be safe, because ponytail holders if eaten can cause big problems internally if they don't pass through. Try using one of those really soft balls they make for kitties.

Aw, that is so very cute!!

Scout will somewhat play fetch - LOL
He loves crumpled up balls of paper and plays soccer a lot with them, but when I throw it across the room, he will scamper to get it and bring it back about 3/4ths of the way and then drop it
It's very cute!

How smart of BabyGirl to teach you a new trick!
Ruth taught us to play fetch too. She will even bring her mousie to us when she wants us to start playing. If we don't pick it up and throw it right away, she'll start scolding us to get moving!
It's great fun for both of us and a wonderful activity to bond even closer to our babies.

Charlotte's most favorite toy (or possession) is my old hair tie (thick, material covered scrunci).

Dax will also fetch - when she is in the mood, that is!

When we took her for a holiday at my in-laws she discovered a old soft toy duck of my partners from when he was young.

She came downstairs with it in her mouth so we took it home for her and now we often cant go to bed at night without throwing it repeatedly for her - it is pretty funny when she retrieves it since it is larger her head!
When she was a kitten she a had a thing for raw potatos and would beg for one to play with and carry around in her mouth - see below!!

Oliver plays fetch too! He likes to catch the toy, and then runs over to me-we then "switch places" and then I throw it to him again--he could play like that for hours! Too cute!
Emma's not too interested though--once you throw a toy to her, she's not giving it back!

My Candy (who lives with my mum) used to fetch. Up until about the age of 11 or so. She used to bring in twigs from the garden and meeeow until you threw it for her to go and get! It was really cute to watch

One time she was walking down the garden path with a whole branch in her mouth! I will never forget that. It was about 3 times as long as she is! haha
