this is such pooh!
i have a little problem, my daughters cat is only 10 months old and is already pregnant (much to my dismay) i know that the kittens are alive, but she has also just recovered from having a mild case of cat flu! so i am concerned that the kittens may be disformed or such like? what do you think?

How far along is the cat?
Has she been to the vet since being pregnant? Is it possible you can spay her right now so that you don't have a load of kittens to care for, spay and then home?

It is possible that the kittens will be born with a sickness. But deformity usually only happens when the cat has been inbred, by other cats who have also been inbred. If you are not set up to handle the birth of kittens, or if you just don't want your daughter to have to see sickly kittens, then I would suggest you get this cat spayed. Most vets will do the spay, depending on how far along the kittens are. Although it is sad, it is sometimes the best way to go. It is also a possibility that the kittens will be born just fine and the mom's milk will be good. It is just hard to say, and you have to make the choice that you can live with.
