Ohhhh Susie, chicken tortilla soup sounds divine!
I make a pretty good tortilla soup, but never thought to add chicken

My favorite soup is clam chowder (if that qualifies as a soup)

I make a vegetable cheese chowder that is to die for!!! Also a cheeseburger soup that is mighty tasty. And if I might say-that is one type of cooking I excel at-many soup.
While I hven't had that chicken tortilla soup I've had it at other places and it is tasty. For restaurants Olive Garden-Zuppa Toscana. If you go to I think Robbiesrecipes.com-you can find alot of adaptations of chain restaurant recipes!!

At the kitty's beck and call
in mine - spring cabbage leaves, onion, tomatoes, some white wine and stock I think off the top of my head. You can put some pasta and ham in it also. Salt and pepper to taste if wanted.

It's a thin soup, just the way I like it and very tasty.

This thread is making me hungry for a good homemade soup! Let's see - I have all the ingredients for chicken noodle soup, so I think I'll make some tomorrow.
I like just about any kind of soup. Are you all familiar with Anne's relevant site? http://www.souplovers.com/

I have a hard time picking one favourite. I love soup. I make a pretty awesome tomato soup, and a pretty awesome clam chowder; I really like those a lot. I also really like beef barley...

Rigel, you will approve my absolute favorite soup: Albondigas!

and a close second would have to be Italian Wedding Soup. Yum.

Tomato soup is my favorite, especially when I don't feel well.

I make 15 bean soup occasionally, and I really like that. I used to buy all the different kinds of beans and put them together until I discovered a mix with the dried beans in the grocery store. It is made by Hambeens, and it is wonderful with smoked sausage chopped up in it. The cajun style is yummy!
