I've been to the vet with both my kitten who had diarrhea for some time and they were given Apo Metronidazole pills to take two times a day for a week.
Now...it hasn't been very difficult to give the med to them, even if it's suppossed to taste awful, I just wrap it in a bit of sliced-cheese and they gobble it down...
The problem is...my older kitten, Timine has started waking up in the middle of the night to scratch at his neck and ears and lick his paws and fur as if something is crawling all over him, preventing him (and me) to sleep. He looks more nervous then before...can it be side-effects? My first thought was fleas or ticks of some kind, but he has just been checked by the vet who said he didn't have them...
Also, both their stool is pretty dark, I assume that's normal...
