Systran says: which goes leude.

What did you think that it might mean?

Well at least you got a lot of translations.
I think if there isn't a translation for a word then they just use the same word. Leude is not a german word unless it's some slang. Even if it is Leute it still doesn't really make sense. Best thing I can up with is "wie gehts leute" or "was gibts leute". Which can be loosely translated to "What's up, folks?" (like TTMoms said)

thanks everyone!

In short, this german guy was leeching a big image off my website (101K) by using it on his. so i replaced the image with one of my site's logo, and those words appeared on top of the page. I thought it was saying "what's this?" LOL

It's not proper German. I'd guess, "Was gibt's, Leute?", i.e., What's up, folks?, or "Wie geht's, Luder?", i.e., How're you doing, you so-and-so?

I took German in High School and own a German/English Dictionary.

Was geht leute means:

"What's going on people"

or another way of saying: "How's it going people?"
