Quick Kenai update

Some of you may have seen where I posted that our german shepherd was doing poorly and we had thought we might have to put her down. She is 9 years old- BUT I took her to the vet, and they determined that she ate horse manure after I wormed the boys They gave her some treatments and she is home now, on special food and doing well! so YAY!!!!

Hard lesson to learn that next time I worm the horses the dog stays in the house for a week until the manure has time to work down into the compost pile-

HAPPY DANCE!!!!!!! I am so glad to hear he is going to be ok. I had been wondering how he was doing.
It looks like we both got to keep our babies a little longer.
Fred is doing well, better than he has in months. He seems to even have a little twinkle in his eye, and was trying to teach Scooter how to catch birds today. They didn't catch any, but they had fun playing in the grass that desperately needs cutting. He is still eating like a horse and being alpha kitty.
