Yesterday i found out that my cousin went to iraq but i have no idea what happened but something blew up infront of them and they were sent back home. (i am yet to get the whole story)
My cousin had to have a transplant and his sister my other cousin was the only compatible donor in the whole family. (she gave him alot of blood) and there is something else
They have been in hospital for the past 10 days and they dont know if the transplant has worked.

My mum doesnt think he is going to make it.
He is going to get married next year, his girlfriend is devistated.
His mum Is also sick and has to have another operation some time soon.

My dad is worried, he doesnt want to lose his sister who has helped him through out all the hard years

Oh, fwan, what a lot for your family to be going through. I just had a good friend make it back from his tour in Iraq. Thankfully, he was unharmed, but we held our breath for the whole year and a half he was there. I'll keep you in my prayers. Hugs and good vibes from Chicago...

Thank you everyone, its just a hard time because everyone of my dads brothers are fighting with my aunty, so she has no family anymore except for my dad.
WHen my parents arrived and saw her she was crying alot.
I dont have much news since i moved away, but i know that if something happened my dad would let me know asap.
I managed to speak to her yesterday because i was in frankfurt and i was lucky to get her at home.
She has stayed in the hospital with my cousins for 10 days and she had to go home to check up on the house and do some things.
I will be seeing them in june, but i dont think its going to be such a happy holiday

I'm not sure to be honest, i'm sure she has.
Apparently he hasnt woken up since the operation, doesnt this mean he is in a coma?

Oh, Fwan, I am sorry you are so worried. It is difficult when you cannot be there to get the full details. Depending on the surgery, he may still be kind of sedated from the pain medications, so may not be as alert as usual. I am very hopeful that as your cousin is getting the best care available, he will recover fully.
I will pray for his healing, for wisdom for the doctors and nurses caring for him, and for peace for your family!

I'm so sorry, fwan. I assume he's in Ramstein, which really isn't too far from you. See if you can get his phone number, and call. In his situation, any little bit of concern might help. Nippers is stationed there, and might be able to give you more info. The whole situation has me so p.o.'d that I've been trying to stop ranting here.

I am so sorry - it is so hard for families when people go to such difficult places. All my thoughts are with you and the family. And yes, sometimes the doctors do keep people asleep for a while, to let their bodies recover.
