I tried to fix the "red eye" with my computer. He has really pretty blue eyes, one of these days i'll learn how to take pictures

The best (and really the only) way to prevent redeye is to not use the bult-in flash. it's too close to the lens, and the light bounces back too well.
to do without it you can try bright lights indoors, or fast film, or tape a bit of tissue paper over the flash to soften it a bit.
