To heat or Not to Heat

That is the question. Princess Leia is now 6 weeks old. Reminder: She has been hand raised as a bottle baby. I have been keeping a heat pad with multible towels under her sleeping area. Should I continue? For how long?

If you have her in a large enough area, she will move off the heat when she is uncomfortable. Using a pet heating pad is preferable, because it doesn't put out the intense heat like human heating pads do. I have good luck with the gel heat packs, the kittens like them because they are squishy to sleep on, much like mom's belly would be. Sadly, the company has gone out of business this year-
