I know that there are several of you, who like myself have the occasional, or sometimes frequent migraine. What I'd like to know, is after you have one, and finally get rid of it, do you feel, oh, "depressed" for lack of a better term, the next day? I know my hub is "different" for a couple of days, and I just had one last night, and I've been just downright depressed and unhappy today, no reason at all, I feel fine, all is well, just weird! Was sitting here thinking about it, and the last one that I had, I felt this way too.....it was kinda recent, usually there's a looooong time in between them. So, am I crazy (yeah, Ryan, if you read this, I know I am), or do some of you feel this way too afterwards?

The day after I have a migraine, I get what I call my "migraine hangover". I'm slower, clumsier, have a harder time thinking and definately have a slightly depressed mood. So no, you're not crazy and you're not alone.

I get sinus headaches, but thank God not migraines. Now Cind, if you get depressed after having one, just think about our conversation earlier today (ya know, about Jerry and his way of waking me up at night) If that doesnt' make you smile, nothing will!

i'm usually very tired once the pain is gone, either for the remainder of the day or the next day...i've always called it a 'migraine hangover'.

Yep, I know you are Cindy!
I don't really get serious headaches, so I'm blessed that way.

Phhbbbttt, I love you too, Ryan! Consider yourself blessed, truthfully! But, thinking about it, I never had migraines until I married.........

Oh yeah, I think the day av\\fter your migraine clears up is worse than the migraine sometimes. I feel like I'm trying to control my body with a few numb levers rather than you now, the normal method.

something weird happened to me on sunday night.
My head was pounding at 8 pm and didnt stop untill sometime in the morning, and it felt watery, the next day i have a lump on my head and i cant even touch it. I didnt hit my head or anything and now its still sore if i touch it

But its weird because it was inside the skull.

I had never had so much pain in my head before infact if it was going to persist in the morning i was heading straight to the doctor

has anyone ever had this before?

i certainly haven't. i think you should go to the doctor anyway, especially since it's still sore.

I'm really lucky . I only get the zig zag vision and never the headaches except maybe a dull one. My problem is that my thought process gets totally fragmented during the time I am having one and then I'm a space cadet for the rest of the day. I will keep my symptoms over a headache anyday.

I guess it's called an "Aura" Here is the closest thing I could find to show you. There is a picture on the website of what it looks like when you have the zig-zag thingy going on, but I get full circles and they are in really pretty colors
Had to drive home with one last night. Not too fun when you are driving- you get tunnel vision

I was fighting one yesterday and today I'm like totally spaced. I hate it, especially when I have to talk to clients like I did today.

I hate the day after a migrain almost as much as the migrain itself. I think you feel ill after cos you're so worn out from having the migrain, you're just exhausted.

I don't get migraines as often as I used to, but I have experienced the "hang over" feeling the day after having one. It's almost as if my brain is paused and someone stole all my energy.

Fortunately, I get the aura and I use this as a warning to immediately take medication. After about 30 minutes my vision clears up and it does not progress into a severe headache. It's an over-the-counter method my sister learned years ago in one of her medical classes. PM me if you want to know what I do.
