Apparently, Simba got out of my apartment last night, when I went to work. He's nowhere to be found, in the building or in the neighborhood. He's never been outside and he's scared of strangers. I have looked everywhere for him and called him, until I lost my voice. I don't think I'll see my baby again. If someone found him, I'm sure they just kept him. Especially if they realized he's a Bengal. My heart is broken. I just know I'll never see my crazy little boy again. Now, I am about to simply give up. I lost my Snoopy in Feb. and now my sweet little Simba is gone. I just want to curl up in a ball and leave this world. I have flyers up all over the building and in the area, but will anyone give me back my boy? I am broken hearted.

Did you put REWARD on the flyer? A promise to reward them with Cash????

Also have you called all the area shelters??? Gone and knocked on doors nearby and shown a photo of him???

This has never happened to me but I know it CAN. I'd be really heartbroken, too and just as down as you are.
I'm so sorry to hear this happened. I hope you find Simba. Or Simba finds YOU.

Oh Hope! I'm so sorry! Sending come home Simba vibes....

I've moved this thread to Cats SOS where you should get a lot of good suggestions to get your boy back home.

Oh my God Hope, I am so so so sorry to hear about this
I definitely would not give up hope yet though. Simba loves you and knows how loved he is in your home. One suggestion that has worked for some is to put a trail of his own litter leading up to your apartment- he'll recognize a familiar scent.
Sending tons of good luck vibes and hugs your way. {{{{{{{{{{}}}}}}}}}}

Hope how terrible for you. Don't give up whatever you do. Yes Simba has gone, but that doesn't mean forever. He's probably hiding somewhere near by. It's still early, keep looking for him. I will send all the vibes I can to help your baby find his way home.
. We're all here with you telling little Simba to come on home.

Do you have somewhere you can leave food for him? Have you called the shelters and local vet's offices?

Sending mega "come home" vibes to Simba.
I agree about calling the shelters in your area.

A couple years ago Milo got out and we called and searched for him until about 3 AM, fianlly gave up and went to bed, he finally showed up crouched on the patio at about 7:30 the next morning, crying to come in.

Oh Hope, I'm just so sorry. Please don't give up looking for him. If I lived close to you I would come and help you look for him. Prayers coming your way that he'll turn up before this day is over.

OH NO! Hope I am so so sorry. I can only imagine how you must be feeling right now. Please don't give up hope. Simba will be reunited with you. Hopefully Hissy will see this post, I remember that she has the name of someone she can give you that will help, a pet detective of some sort.

Hope, he's probably so scared that he's very close to home. Try putting his litter box, carrier, and food outside. Can you leave a door or window open, so that he can get back in? Ask your neighbors to check their garages, cellars, sheds, etc.. You can probably also borrow a trap from a local shelter, or buy one at a pet store. Print up flyers, and stuff them in every mailbox in your neighborhood. Do you have a lot of young kids playing outside in your neighborhood? Give them pictures of Simba, and ask them to tell you right away if they see him. Don't give up!

Don't give up! Have you thought of using a pet communicator?

Oh no Hope- try www.lost-pets.org for tips on how to find him. Because he is a Bengal- he will be a highly desirable cat for someone to find-

Promise a reward-maybe that will influence them to give the cat back, if they have him.

Don't give up! Be pro-active as soon as possible - the chances are much greater htan if you simply wait. I do hope you find him.
