Left behind

This is Claire, sister of my little guy, Pete. She was left behind when her adoptive family moved this weekend and is now looking for a new home.

Awww, I wish my husband wouldn't kill me if I brought her home. Plus she would be the "black sheep" of the family. LOL

She is an angel. I'd love to take her, but three has to be my limit.

They moved out of state suddenly and made no plans to take her with them, so that's pretty much on purpose.

Where is she staying at this time? Is someone fostering her I hope?

If not, I strongly recommend you contact various rescue organizations and see if anyone can help. It will take time and patience but I believe you CAN find someone who can help to foster and eventually to rehome her..

If no one is fostering her at this time, then maybe you can take her in for a FEW DAYS until you find someone?

Poor cat! Hope she finds a home soon!

Thanks. She's currently in my spare bedroom and seems pretty calm under the circumstances. I volunteer with a rescue group and normally she would have gone to one of our foster homes, but we're at capacity with moms and kittens. I'm spreading the word all over the place to find her a new home.

Glad to know that she's staying someplace safe.

I know how it is with having a limit on cats and having to foster. I have been in that situation before and know how hard it is. I WISH people would be more responsible about animals they adopt and not just abandon them..

Originally, I had FOUR cats and that was my LIMIT then due to an emergency, I had to foster Tango and due to a medical issue, I realized that it'd be better for me to keep Tango so I ended up with 5 cats now. I love him though!

Well, I'm sending "positive find home vibes" for this cat.

Pls do keep us posted on her!!
