Okay, heres my question...I dont use litter bags in the litterboxes because I think they are way too much trouble and distracting to my kitties. But I am having trouble with the clumping litter allowing the urine clumps to stick to the box! I cant get it off of the litterbox. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to avoid this and making a mess???

After you scrub out the box, try spraying the bottom with Pam non-stick cooking spray.

I like the pam cooking spray idea, I might try it. Also...I have found that if I add a little more litter in the box & keep it deeper, the pee clumps don't stick. Of course, then I have more litter on the floor. When Dexter has uses the box...he becomes a litter tossing machine. I don't mind though...he is my sweet furboy.
I scoop, therefore...I am.

I don't use Pam (I don't have it in the house usually), so I just take a paper towel and some cooking oil and wipe the litter box with it before filling. No problems with sticking.

When I fully clean Shamrock and Pesky's litter boxes, i bang out whatever is stuck on the bottom and then use a medium pressure spray and rinse the box out. Works fine just dry out the box, add litter, and let the pooping commence!!!!

Thats a great idea! I never thought of that! I will try it...I clean the box out completely twice a week, so, I will definitely do that.

I add a little more litter everytime I scoop it to keep it fresh, Samantha is really picky, and she wont use it if it smells. I dont care about litter on the floor. Its just difficult to keep the box clean for her when the pee clumps stick to it, because they just break apart and scatter!

This may be what I do...I think I am out of the cooking spray.

I do that too, but it doesnt see to be helping. I think I will try the Pam...or the cooking spray.
Thanks for all of the suggestions!!!
