I have a secret, but I'll tell you. I have a fake tan!!!
It came out pretty good. No streaking! It's Loreal towelettes. Very easy to apply and dries in no time. Its $8-9 a box of 6 towelettes. I used up a box and my tan is a nice medium. I went to Super Wal-Mart to buy some more and right now they have a promo special. The towelettes come with a tube of tanning gel. I haven't tried that yet, but I'll let ya know!

Ahhh it's fake tan time again! I will have to have a look out for those towels.... I have mouse at home to use but sometimes find it really boring applying it! lol

My friend at work had a spray on tan done on Friday and she looks pretty good
She had such a light colour done that it looks totally natural.

I best get exfoliating so that I can start applying. I need to get rid of my pasty arms and legs!!! lol

I really couldn't see much difference after the first application. The second was obvious because the directions said to go lightly on knees and elbows. Well, I went too lightly and my knees were white.
The third application fixed that and then I saw a big difference. I did it every 2 to 3 days.

I wanted the airbrush tan too, but it's more expensive and needs to be applied again in a week to 10 days. They look great though. A friend of mine got one last year and it was awesome.

I *love* sunless tanning! I've been an addict for about 3 years now and I'm proud. If anyone ever has any questions I consider myself a mini expert

I usually end up using a light sunless tanner on my legs in the summer... they don't tan well in the sun and I look really weird with my top tan and white legs lol

I know! I get like that too, as summers here are cool enough to wear long pants and/or jeans all the time and not get hot, so my upper gets tan but my legs are white. So I use Neutrogena bronze gel/tanner on my legs - I get instant color and it also is a 2-4 hr self-tan. It lasts for days, not messy at all. The secret is to exfoliate in the shower and then apply a light moistureizer to your legs and then the bronzer/tanner = No streaks!

Since I'm quite fair and wanted a safe alternative to tanning beds or laying out (which I'm against), I use Lancome Soleil Flash Bronzer in light. I use it year round and it provides enough colour for a natural look, and you can apply it more often in the summer for a deeper "tan". It's quick drying, doesn't streak if used properly, and doesn't have a chemical smell.

-disappointing. I thought there would be pics to go along with this thread.
(Just kidding.) I don't mind women who don't get a tan, but I find it surprising how I've never, ever met a woman who didn't lust after a tan, so it seems to be a necessary evil to go through.

I beg to differ! I've never wanted a tan.

But then again I've grown up in Southern California surrounded by people with gorgeous tans. I always took pleasure in my pasty white complexion.

Not really. You might like the women of the Northwest. It's not a "requirement" up here, and the Seattle area isn't known for a lot of tan people, in fact, the attitude here is almost on either end of the pendulum: some swear by it, but the larger population up here just doesn't give a hoot and many of our women don't look near their age!

At the kitty's beck and call
I tan easily but try to stay pasty
. I'm always smothering myself in factor 30 and sitting in the shade!

Hubby finds it really hard to tan and is always sitting in the sun!

What a pair of oddballs we are

Kinda like tan & bony looks better than white & bony...
I still prefer the good old fashioned cookin'. My face looks so much better with sun-but I am paying the price-I'm not as gung ho as I used to be. Plus it's nice to go to the beach & enjoy the sights & sounds.
I tell people it's that time of year, I gotta go work on my wrinkles!
