What a difference a day makes. After her 5 week anniversary I was beginning to wonder if I was going to be bottle feeding her and wipping her little back side the rest of my life BUT WOW!!! When I came home on the 27th my little kitty was eating solid food. I had told my hubby to wait until I came home with the cultured yogart and in her hunger she took a few bites of the Science Diet Kitten food. Not softened or crunched up or anything. I then made her milk and tried it in a bowl and after a couple attempts at drowning herself she figured it out and has been using the bowl ever since. Now at 6 weeks old she is staying home while I am at work in her Kitty Condo I made her with water and dry food (that is the way she seems to like it. She won't even eat it if she drops it in the water and it gets soggy). I have reduced her kitty formula to one feeding in the morning and one at night and she is not always finishing those. Is it time to take her off of it completely? She still asks for it. Also, I still have a little heater under her sleeping area. Is she ready to take that away?
