This little cat of ours, a female Flamepoint Siamese lookalike (she's not a pedigree, but sure looks like one), when she greets us the first thing every morning just rubs her head on us and gives these little nibbles with her mouth. She's as happy as any of our dogs to see us. Is this behavior unusual or rather normal for a cat?

Yeah it's normal. I only have one nibbler. Snickers nibbles every night! When it nears dawn (feeding time), he will move up & sleep by my face. Then if I don't wake up right away he reaches out and very gently nibbles my nose, my cheeks, or even tries to nibble my forehead.
It doesn't hurt and actually it's a very sweet sign of affection!

Well, it's very cool and enjoyable and I love her for it!

Pumpkin is a nibbler nut! He'll nibble on anything from your fingers and toes to your nose. Thats more so when he decides to lay on your chest and purr wich i think this the sweetest! The only problem is if he happens to have bad kitty breath at the moment!
