Hello! I'm a mommy of 2 now 10 week old kittens, Mooch and Noodles. They are sweethearts! My husband and I started out looking for one cat and found these 2 and just couldnt separate them. Our house is filled with the pitter patter of kitty feet for sure now.
I grew up with cats since I was 2. My first cat was named Christmas Tinsel (Tinsel or Tinny for short). She was a doll and she passed when I was about 14. When I was in the 4th grade my mother and I adopted Morning Glory (Glory or Beans for short). Glory was my best friend through some rough years for my family. I don't know that i have even been as heart broken as the day she passed unexpectadly. When my mother remarried we acquired my step sibilings cat Tiger. She was the friendliest cat I have ever met! She had an extra toe and liked to use it to grab things from your hands when you weren't paying attention to her and decided you must. She was also the cat who walked into walls.
She passed a few weeks after my wedding when her treatments failed. I was heartbroken again.
Later that year my mother adopted 2 cats from the local shelter. Pumpkin was the tiniest kitten we had ever seen! We later found out by coincidence that he was premature but today he's very healthy. Part of that is due to adopting Bunny, a 3 year old cat who had to be given up because of her owner's allergies. Bunny "Mommied" Pumpkin. The two of them filled an empty place in our hearts.
But time came for me to adopt my own lovies. So my husband and I adopted Mooch and Noodles. They are special kitties. My husband decided it was time for us to adopt them because he is military and will be away some this year. He wanted me to have something to cuddle and love on besides just wanting me to have them since they have been a part of my life for so long anyway. So that is my cat story and basically who I am. Anything else ya wanna know just ask!
