A couple of my 25-day-old kittens decided to eat Mom's food today when I brought it to her! It was kind of chunky soft food. Does anyone think that would hurt the kittens to start eating such solid food without having a stop in between (like mushy cereal-like food)? I'm assuming that they wouldn't eat something that would hurt them, but then I have a dog too, and he eats all sorts of disgusting things!
Thanks!

They will be fine - consider yourself lucky they were ready to go to regular food without you having to prompt them to go to it. You might try introducing a good, high-quality kitten moist formula though - it has the nutrition growing babies need more so than adult formula foods.

gayef -
I was wondering if there was moist kitten food out there. I can't seem to find any. Guess I need to be looking at the pet store? (Plus, I did set out some Iams kitten food moistened with Whiskas Catmilk) Thanks!
