Need an answer water broke

my cats water broke (at least thats what it looked like) she got real lovey and wanted me to be with her so i layed on the floor with her by her nesting box. She started pushing and a water sack emerged she broke it and cleaned up it was clear with just a little blood discharge afterwards that was almost 5 hours ago and still nothing. For about an hour she acted like she was in labor and i could feel contractions but now shes acting like nothings wrong. Shes calm eating like a horse drinking plenty. I know it has to be time but this is her first litter and i'm worried about her. Believe me her butts getting fixed we saved her from a busy street i made her appointment to get fixed and she escaped and wasnt seen until a week an a half ago. No escaping this time shes getting fixed. But i'm not sure if this is normal any help would be great.

Honestly, if you are sure it was one of the kittens amniotic sacs, and it's been 5 hours, it's time to call your vet, imo. Please keep us posted?

My concerns are risk of infection and fever, uterine inertia (poor quality contractions), a kitten presenting in such a way it's blocking the birth canal...

Shes finaaly having babys so far just 1 so its gonna be a long night for both of us.. Its orange and white.. Myia (mom) is calico so It should be interesting to see all of them..I'll keep you up to date.. Thanks for your help and earlier there was no kitten it was just a big empty sack of water I just never seen a cat do that before.

Just glad to hear she's delivering. I have had water break with no kitten, but not with good results...so am *very* glad to hear all is going well.
