He loves my shoes!!!!

Especially after I have been wearing them all day long...as soon as I take them off, he smells, and rubs and rubs, and its like there is catnip in them or something and it doesn't matter which shoes it is...any shoes..especially sweaty stinky shoes he loves the most

Jamie is like that with my husband's shoes. When he was little, he used to crawl into them, but now that he's about 14 lbs. he has to content himself with sticking his nose in them and rubbing himself on them. My husband has very sweaty feet, so we can't understand how Jamie can stand it!

Kitties can be strange ! A cat my Mum had (Vincent(RB), in the polydactyl pix thread) had a shoe fetish . He would come over to you and turn a somersault on your shoes! Never failed. Of course after that he demonstrated that he had the infamous "shoe-untying" gene as he would "fight" with your shoelaces LOL.

Thats so funny..Rocky does the somersault too.

My mom's cat sticks her head all the way into my shoes after I take them off. Then she falls over on them. My boyfriend's male cats are the same way. They love my shoes, bite my socks (with my feet still in them!) and rub my pants' legs like crazy. I figure I must be secreting something that smells really wonderful to them. My own cats could care less.

My Gordito does that.. but he doens't care for shoes that much =)



Everytime I go to my friends house, I have to search for my shoes when its time to leave. her cat, Wanda, always takes off with them and licks them and chews on the laces.. shes a silly girl.

Oliver and Emma are the same way--esp. my sneakers, after I've been running in the park picking up all sorts of nice grass, dog and squirrel smells!
Oliver likes feet too--he likes to lick my toes--that's my little weirdo!

Frodo adores our sandals, though not any other shoes. I guess it's because there's no sock in between the foot and shoe. I think Frodo is the only living thing on the planet that thinks my husband's feet smell great!
