I just received this e-mail from a friend. Has anyone ever heard of such a thing?

"We now have two kittens from the same litter, a brother and sister, about 4 months old. The brother, we just noticed this past weekend, has 4 canines in his upper jaw--4 "fangs" instead of 2. Have you ever heard of this before? The mother or the sister does not have this mutatation."

Tell your friend not to be concerned as it happens all the time to kittens. All it means is that the baby teeth are being pushed out by the adult teeth. I see it all the time in my babies. If she finds the teeth on the floor tell her to keep them becuase usually they swallow them and it won't hurt them. When I find my babies teeth, I keep them myself in a little baggie with their name on it.
