Hi all!! I just wanted to know if anyone has any good advice/suggestions ..... as some of may already know, I have recently adopted a new baby, a 7 year old male Maine coon, he is a wonderful friendly boy who seems to have settled in nicely.....the only thing is he meows ALL night.... I know he'll probably get over this soon enough, but was wondering if there is anything I can do to that might help for the time being, I would have him in our bedroom with us but hubby is not keen on the idea and doesn't want him to get used to something that will not continue...if ya know what I mean!! Would a radio be of any use? If it was left on quietly for him over night? What do you think? Any help would be really appreciated!! I wouldn't mind so much but hubby has to get real early and this guys mewing is loud...and I mean LOUD!!! ha ha ha bless him....

He is really confused right now with all the changes. First, I would try giving him some Dr bachs every night. I would leave a small light or nightlight on for him, some music and lots of toys to play with. Try and play with him as much as you can before bedtime, so that he is more prone to sleep. I would give him at least a month before all the new changes in his life are not so overwhelming.

Thanks Sandie, I realise he's stressed out at the mo, so I don't mind too much, I was just wondering what could be done to relax him (and let us get some sleep...hee hee) He wasn't too bad last night, and Im going to try and pick up some Bachs Rescue Remedy tonight for the big guy....thanks again!!
