Ohhh wow! This waiting is drivin me nuts! ha!

My kitty is due any day now..... Perhaps any hour!

It must be soon because for 2 days now I have woke up dreaming about the little babies...

I cant imagine her going another week... She is huge! and a pretty small cat...

I dont have the exact date of mating because she disappeared for 5 days the first day of her first heat... argh!

BUT, she looks and seems super healthy... Im just waiting for some signs... I have made her a nesting area in my closet... She may prefer the spare bedroom though, we'll see... I'm leaving it up to her pretty much...

All these cats I am reading about having kitties is making me more anxious for it to happen...

Boo-kitty keeps trying to go outside but I really prefer her to be inside... I have noticed 2 toms hangin around the house, I am wondering if they are the papa's...

So, any suggestions of supplies I might want to keep on hand???

EAGERLY awaiting,

EAGERLY awaiting,
Hey Spirit...Please keep your cat indoors until you have her spayed. The fact that there are intact males around means that once she gives birth, if she is allowed outdoors again, she could become pregnant again.

EAGERLY awaiting,
Well, here's a site on cat birth that I find really helpful.... Site.

Things To Keep On Hand When Your Cat Is Expecting:
Keep plenty of clean towels on hand when your cat is expecting. Go to WalMart and purchase a bottle of tame iodine solution (Betadine) for antiseptic, some Q-tips and a pair of blunt scissors. Buy a package of dental floss in case you need to tie off the kittenâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s umbilical cords. A baby nose suction bulb works well to clean mucus from the mouth and nose of infant kittens. If it is cold, buy a heavy duty-heating pad.

I really like this site, too, and this is where I got the list of things needed.
Site 2

Good luck!

Cassie

Hi guys...

I'm sorry, I have threads all over the place!

Yes, we had MAY DAY babies! 5 of them... The kitties are healthy and mama is doing great...

She meows alot and doesnt want me far from her AT ALL!

I assume this is normal...

She slept with me... well, between me and the kitties... My bed is only about 2 feet from her queens chamber.. hehe (we cleaned out the closet so she has a larger area with the kitties..)

anyways, thanks for checkin...
