It's been an awesome week in the Spotlight. Thank you so much Jenn for this very fun opportunity
Y'all probably know more about me know than you ever really wanted to

So now it's time to pass the buck, to someone I've had a great time getting to know lately and who is lucky enough to be married to a Christian Slater look-alike. Without further ado....the Member Spotlight is now on Kelly (kellyyfaber). Conga-rats chick!

So I'll ask the inaugural questions:
1. We know you're a ketchup addict. What other condiments couldn't you live without (peanut butter, mustard, garlic, etc.)?
2. Tell us the story of how you named your kitties!!!
3. What did you major in in college and do you find it useful today?
4. I was asked to name 7 people (either alive or dead) that I'd like to have at dinner. To make it tougher for you, take that number down to 5...and instead of dinner, make it brunch

I'll have a lot more questions to come throughout the week. Now it's time for me to skeeedaddle!
Again, congrats Kelly!

Congratulations Kelly!

How often do you vaccuum your house?

Do your shoes stink?

How long does it take you to get to work?

How often roughly do you spend on TCS each day?

First of all I'd like to thank you Aimes for answering my off the wall ?'s last week with out complaining!
And thank you for all the interesting, amusing and honest answers to everyone's ?'s. Whatever brain melting ?'s you throw my way, I'll be happy to answer and I will totally deserve it
. Hopefully you guys will still like me after getting to know me better . Thanks Amy!

1. We know you're a ketchup addict. What other condiments couldn't you live without (peanut butter, mustard, garlic, etc.)? Well, I put ketchup on a whole lotta things but the things I eat without ketchup has A-1 steak sauce on it. A-1 makes my mouth water just thinkin' about it

2. Tell us the story of how you named your kitties!!!
Sandy got her name by the large sandy-colored patches all over her fur (I was pretty creative, huh
)

Diddy's name came about in a more interesting way. When I first brought her home from the humane society, I just called her "little kitty" until I figured out what to name her. Well I baby-talked her constantly and "little kitty" sounded like "diddle kitty". I liked the way "Diddle" sounded so that became her name---until I shortened it to "Diddy". Everyone always thinks I named her after P.Diddy

Oscar was named after "Oscar the Grouch" on Sesame Street. When I found Oscar, he was living in a trash dumpster and he WAS quite grouchy when we caught the little wild thing (he bit Shy and Shy had to go thru the first series of rabies shots). I've always felt his name was very fitting.
Sui, her story is a little confusing so I'll try to be as clear as possible. I first found her when she was 2 days old, lying in a drainage ditch. Her little face looked like Chewbacca to me so I started calling her Chewie. After I found out she was a girl, I decided Chewie wasn't a proper name for a little sweet girl. I've always been a big fan of the Croc Hunter Steve Irwin and his dog was named Sui . I always loved that name and it just happened to rhyme with Chewie, so it stuck.
3. What did you major in in college and do you find it useful today?
I majored in Sociology. I don't find it as useful as I thought it would be. At the University I went to, ALL of the Social Sciences professors were cool as hell. They all held class outdoors, showed up when they wanted, and were always open minded and hung out with us students. I really wanted to be a professor and connect with students and make them "think outside the box" like my professors had. I majored in Sociology with the hopes of going to graduate school to complete that dream. Unfortunately, life doesn't always go as we plan and I didn't end up going to graduate school. There's not much you can do with a Sociology degree if you don't go to grad school.
Oh well, it just wasn't in the stars for me. Life had other plans, I'm just along for the ride.

4. I was asked to name 7 people (either alive or dead) that I'd like to have at dinner. To make it tougher for you, take that number down to 5...and instead of dinner, make it brunch

Well, I'm tempted to name just all hot guys but...
1. I'd have to say you, Aimes b/c I think we have a lot in common and we'd have a good time
2. James Hetfield of Metallica. The whole band just fascinates me, the way they create such melodic, meaningful songs. Their lyrics and instrumentals both tell a story in each song. I think he would have some interesting stories to tell, as well.
3. Amelia Earheart (sp?)
4. Johnny Carson
5. Steve Irwin (criiii-key)

That one was pretty tough. Interesting folks. Wonder what we would all talk about?

If I see a spider anywhere on the floor, I'll vacuum every day for a week!!!! Other than that, once a week . Most of the house has tile/wood.

Do your shoes stink? LOL! I was just saying this morning that I needed new running shoes b/c my Nikes stink. My "yard work" shoes stink, too. They never make it further into the house than the garage
. Other than that, my shoes are pretty fresh.

How long does it take you to get to work? I haven't found a job here in TN yet. I am looking, but haven't found anything that "fit" yet.

How often roughly do you spend on TCS each day? We have DSL so sometimes I just stay logged in, even when I'm taking a shower, watching TV, etc. It's hard to say. I'd say at least 2 hrs/day
Thanks Sam!

I sure do.

Yes, I do fart. I think farting is fun when you can share it with someone
(I'm generous that way). I don't think I farted today. If I did, it wasn't very memorable.

How long are your toe nails? do you paint them? (with nailpolish) My toenails go just to the end of my toe. I paint them a frosty light pink color. I can show you a pic of you want

Are you planning to get more kitties? Well I'm not *planning* on getting more. Then again, I wasn't *planning* on getting more when I got Oscar and Sui.

Are you going to have children? Probably not. I would like to have kids later on but Shy (my husband) doesn't want any. I kind of need him to be a willing participant, ya know?

Pads or Tampons?
The dreaded question.....just kiddin'. I've always used tampons.

Do you have a pimple right now? Nope

When you do have a pimple what do you do?
a) squeeze it?
b) apply cream and pray it will go away
c) get kitty to chew on it, their saliver is healthy anyway...
LOL! a) and b). I won't let them chew on my face
I've seen things they chew on and my face doesn't want sloppy seconds.

Are your legs hairy? What method do you remove your hairs? Hairy, no. Stubbly, yes. In the summer, I shave my legs about every other day with disposable razors. In the winter when no one sees my legs, well that's another story.

What is your favourite cream product? I like to use Dove Day Lotion on my face. It keeps it nice and smooth. I also like to use Fruits of Paradise body lotion with Kukui nut oil.

What shampoo brand do you buy? I like to use Pantene and Herbal Essences. I like the way it makes my hair smell

Do you have a money box? You know, I can't even remember the last time I had cash in my wallet. I always rely on credit cards and my debit card. No, I don't have one--I keep it all in the bank.

WHo is your favourite member on tcs?
Oh I can't pick a favorite. I like different things about different people. Like you, I like your sense of humor and they way you aren't afraid to speak your mind
I also like to hear about what it's like to live in Germany, I've never been to Europe. I think it's interesting that you've lived in so many countries!

Do you think Ryan should show his chest with his face? Yes, I think Ryan should post many more pics of himself, including a pic of his muscular chest with his face

umm i think thats enough for now..!
Thanks Fwannie!! Your ?'s are fun to answer! (I like the way you put Ryan on the spot, too!
)

Kelly, good to see you are the chosen target for this week my friend!

Sorry, I don't think I'll be able to match Fran's creativity, so I'll have to come up with some good ones of my own.

What is your favourite type of flower and/or plant?

How many concerts have you been to and who did you see?

What is your dream job/career?

Do you get headaches? If so, often?

What kind of music did you listen to as a teenager?

You're stranded on a desert island... Which 3 things would you bring with you?

What are the 5 most important qualities a friend should have?

Do you believe in God or a higher power?

1. Have you ever drastically colored your hair? How did it turn out? Yes. I've been a blond a time or two. I think I looked good as a blond. May get bored and go back sometime. I like changing things up now and then.

2. Are you and Shy competitive when you play games? 2½. Who's more competitive? Hmmm. No time for fun and games anymore but...we used to play Golden Tee (golf arcade game) at the bar I used to work at. I think I was more competitive b/c he was on MY turf and I kicked his butt all over the place on Golden Tee

3. What pushed Shy at the top of your love life where it got to the point that you really wanted to marry him? I thought you said you were gonna start out easy!!! Well, I don't think there was one thing in particular. It was a combination of things. He met my family--and still liked me. He was the only stable person I had ever had in my life. He was not only faithful but he was loyal and honest. He was like my friends, only he had his sh*% together. He helped me sort out my mess of a life. He was really there for me, no one had ever really been there for me before.
Thanks for the ?'s Ryan. Those weren't TOO bad, I guess you really did start out easy.

Dew, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, Cran-apple juice, distilled water, or Tang (tee-hee I said tang). If you wanted something else though, I'd run down to Double Qwik and get it for you

2. What did you want to be when you grew up? I must not have been very ambitious as a kid b/c I can't remember. I don't think I thought too much about growing up. I guess I wanted to be Barbie or Shee-Ra or one of the My Little Ponies.
3. How far off is what you do now from your childhood dreams? Well I sure aint Barbie LOL!!!
4. You've got what looks like a HUGE yard from those pictures you posted a while back, how do you take care of the hwole thing??? A riding lawnmower! I mow it 2 times a week and weedeat 1 time. When I go back to work, I'm either gonna have to pay a service to do it or hubby is gonna have to break down and help out.
5. If you stay out really late are you good at pretending you're fine the next day or do you look like something one of your cats would drag in? I used to be good at faking it when I was younger. If I stay out late now, you can tell it from a mile away

I spose that's it for now. Thanks Kelly!

OK, here are some more questions for ya!
1. What ringtone do you have on your cell phone?
2. How did you meet your Christian Slater look-alike?
3. What do you miss most about West Virginia?
4. If you could only eat ONE thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?

I'm coming up with some much more devious Qs to ask you later. Be afraid!
