Jenny, I'm celebrating by getting the van an oil change.

And maybe getting another package of chocolate filled creme horns (aka French Twirls).

Just make sure, in your euphoria, that you don't get mixed up and put the oil and the pastries in the wrong places!

Great job! I just traded in my van on a 2001 Taurus and was able pay for it! What a great feeling, no car payment (for the first time in 12 yrs of marriage)! But I'm with you, if we could just get the credit card and school loans paid off...

Congrats!

Don't talk to me about CC's LOL! We've been trying to get the same 3k paid off the credit card for about as long as we've been married (17+ yrs)! I guess I should be glad it never really gets any bigger.

And a hearty congratulations on getting the vehicle paid off! We've never bought a new vehicle (my truck is a '72 chevy, and the car is a '92 olds my mom gave to us when she stopped driving, hubby is a fair shadetree mechanic) but I can still imagine the euphoria of saying good-bye to a monthly payment
