about 7-8 weeks ago I took my male cat to get fixed, he was doing the usual, sparying and stinking the house, so I took him right away before be damaged the house and before he got his sister pregnant. About 3 maybe 4 weeks later I saw my female cat acting weird, I looked at her stomach and it looked like she was pregnant, MY MALE CAT GOT HER PREGNANT, HER BROTHER! she looked the same when her sister was pregnant about 3 months ago, but she's not my cat that's my aunts cat. Anyway, my cat's nipples her getting bigger and pink, and they previously didn't look like that! she's always been extremly loving but now she's more! I touched her tummy (which is weird because she never let me!) and her stomach felt kind of hard. I waited a couple more weeks and now I can feel her babies move, she was always a small cat, she's a little over a year old and she looked like she's 5 months old before she got pregnant! I noticed that she is getting a bit bigger, not fat, just her tummy is bigger.

What is weird is that her sister was HUGE, she was big that she couldn't move and lick her self when needed. But my cat is not like that, i'm worried that her cats will be deform or something wrong will happen to the kittens!

I think my cat is about 9 weeks old or maybe a little more. I need to know if this is bad!!!

Yes, this is bad.
It means more unwanted kittens in an already crowded shelter world (if you are correct)
Yes, cats, if not fixed, will get their relatives pregnant. They don't have the same societal taboos as humans.
You need to get your cat into a vet ASAP and see what you are dealing with.

If possible, you can get her spayed while there even if she is pregnant.
Let us know what your vet says.

Good luck!!!

If you have never seen your male around babies, I would not chance it. The female and babies should be in another room, door shut, away from small kids, a lot of noises, etc..preferably in a large box when she will allow you to put them there.

Get RID of your male cat? Well, if you take the right precautions, it should be fine.

Please get your male nuetered asap if he is not, and the female done asap when able...same with the kittens before finding homes.

I am hearing about a lot of unneutered cats in here, whether they are your aunts or yours..the best thing to do is to get them fixed BEFORE this happens. Kittens can be safely fixed at 2lb, apx 10 weeks or so. Males can produce babies at just 4 months of age or so.

What do you mean your cat is 9 weeks old?

As far as the sister carrying her brothers babies...it is not ideal but it happens all the time in the wild...I doubt you will have deformities...but again, please have them nuetered and spayed before these troubles come along...it saves A LOT of heartache

Call around, there are many low cost spay and nueter clinic options. When finding homes for the kittens, have them already fixed / vaccinated and charge the appropriate amount for them to ensure they go to good, serious homes.

I am concerned about your comment on how small the cat is...if she is as small as you have stated..she may not be large enough to deliver and may need your vet's assistance. I would really suggest you take her in to your vet to determine whether she can safely have this litter.

The chances are that your girl will do just fine. Make sure you provide her with a safe, warm, dimly lit nesting box or area and keep the normal traffic of your home away from her until she is ready to bring the kittens out. Once they are weaned (about 4 to 6 weeks old) please take her in to have her altered.

You might also want to read a few of the stickys at the top of this Forum's Index so you can be prepared. And as always, feel free to post questions.

I agree. My two neutered males were pretty curious about my foster kits but after a few litters, they settled in. The younger of the two will actually snuggle with my bottle babies if I put them next to him. He still "bops" older ones, (they move more so he thinks they're fair game). This is after seven litters last year and a lot of supervision, though.

On the other hand, I've heard of daddy cats grooming newborns in the box with mama.

I wouldn't chance it.

my male cat is nutered already and he's very loving, and i've never seen him act agressive ever, not even my female cat, i've never had a problem with them being troubled cats.

When my aunts cat had her babies about 6 weeks ago, at the time i was living with her, and I had my cats with me, first of all my male cat and female cat didn't feel great at all because their was a strange cat (even tho it's their sister) anyway, once she had her babies, he would just hiss at them, he was actually scared of them, I think... lol, but he never tried to hurt them or anything. So i'm hoping everything will be ok with my cat's kittens, I don't know how he will react, I know he will not turn evil on them lol, my male cat is soooooo loving, he just feels weird when he sees his other sister, (my aunts cat).

I neutered my cat once he started spraying, and before he even tried to get the female cat pregnant, but it happened! I told myself that my cat was never going to be a mother, i never wanted that because i know i can't keep them all like i previously did. come on.. i'm on my own now! lol. i was really sad when i found out my cat was pregnant, i really didn't want it to happen but its my fault because i should of done something about it soon. I got a part-time job and now i'm full time on my current job, so now i'll have enough money to keep all the kittens, i even moved to a new apartment just because i have to keep the kittens, i dont want to take them so a shelter, i would NEVER do that. but this time i'll be more carefull.

I wouldn't commit to keeping all the kittens, she could have up to 12- but what I would do is when they are weaned, get her spayed and sell the kittens so you find responsible homes and insist the kittens also be spayed or neutered.

wow 12? she sure don't look like she is going to have 12! lol. she's not a fat pregnant cat, she's small, her tummy is kind of large tho. but I don't know. She's about 9-10 weeks old and she still doesnt look massive, I don't think all pregnant cats is so huge, do they?

hehe, yeah, my first cat always had 4 kittens only and she was never a huge pregnant cat either. My current cat is not big at all, but her sister was sooooooooo huge! she couldn't even lick herself! i've never seen a cat that big in my life! lol
