When the belly drops

How close to labor is the cat usually?

according to my vet a couple of days.

Mavericks belly dropped a day/two days before she gave birth.

And how can you tell the belly drops? (sorry to interfere in someone else's thread!!)

I have the same question. How can you tell?

In some cats, it is evidently obvious, but the truth is that I have never observed it in one of my own cats. That isn't to say that I don't think it happens, I am sure that it does, but I haven't experienced it. My Lexus seems to carry high ... hope you can see this as clearly as I do:

it just looks lower and less obvious.

i was scared maverick had had the kitten in secret because she didnt look so pregnant any more.
