Sorry to vent on you guys, but I gotta let it go!

Now, most of you know that I don't get mad really easily, but let me warn you, when I do get mad, it ain't pretty! This morning, when I got to work, my cell phone isn't working, nor is our phone line here at the store........seems my dad (who is in charge of AP) hasn't paid them so they cut them off!@!!!!
ARRRRRRRGGGGHHH!!! Normally, I wouldn't care, but these are the numbers that are on the business cards given out to the drug reps at the local dr's offices to get in touch with us about doing their catered lunches (what will be our biggest moneymaker!)!!!!!! When I found this out, I almost blew a gasket, to say the least! I knew he told me we didn't have the money to pay it this month, well geez, no wonder! It's for three months and is just over $900!! There is no way to pay it in full right now, its just not possible! I currently have an email in to Bellsouth, hoping to arrange some kind of partial payment and get at least the phone here back on, and keep the DSL line (why its still on, I don't know)........so how about some good vibes that they'll work with me on this guys, please?!! Oh, and if you don't see me around anytime today before quitting time you'll know that the DSL line went kaput too. Oh, and anyone want to come and check my blood pressure right about now?!

Oh Cindy, how frustrating! I can only imagine your BP is up.....I'll send Jerry down to check it.........I'm sure if you try, your phone company will work with you......let us know!

Awww, thanks Sooz.......can I pay him in cinnamon rolls? I think it may be past "up", I wouldn't doubt but what its thru the roof!

Cindy don't stress yourself because it's just not worth it!

Like Susie said have a word with the phone company to work something out because if they get they normally get their payments they should be ok.

When you say your dad is in charge of AP, what does that mean?

Susan, AP stands for "Accounts Payable", meaning he's in charge of all the bills........usually he writes the checks and I sign 'em, but the phone bill is an online payment, and my siggy isn't needed for that.

aw cindy we have this problem also and im suprised that they havent cut us off yet!
we have untill may 15th to pay... because bf managed to talk to them and write a lovely letter

How did i not know that?, i get creditors coming on asking for that department all the time here!

What if you take over the accounts side so it doesn't happen again?!

Good luck getting this taken care of..I know we have had sprint for about 4 years, and one month recently we were 1 week behind an they called my house and wanted us to pay the following month too..umm excuse me..that first payment, is STILL paying IN ADVANCE...this is where these companies screw people over...I sooo went off...

LOL! I had to laugh, Susan, thanks for that! I really wondered about you, 'cause I thought you worked in an office......

I think we're about to do some major changing around here, and bless his heart, I think its a good thing he was off this morning, or I might have gone totally balls up ballistic at him! I have at least cooled off some now, not totally, just some!

yep, that was me!!! Heh, that one would probably be heard 'round the world! Ooohhh, I hate to get that mad! To me it's a total waste of my time and energy to be that pi$$ed off for that long, ya know? Since I've calmed down a bit, I feel totally and thouroughly drained. Sigh....and its just lunchtime.....ugh!

OTOP, I did at least get lasagna for lunch today!

Could you do a leaflet drop of the surgeries near you to alert them that someone will be collecting their order in the meantime? Then make some arrangements for order collection? You've probably already done something like this LOL!
