HELP!!! need to cat proof room

help i got a preg cat tht is should have kittens soon and i reallly really need to cat prrof the room so she cant have the kittens anywhere i cant reach. i dont have anybaby gates or anything or a kennel so i have to keep her in a room. i dunno what to do bout it!!!

Ahh, you sound just like me. I didnt even know my cat was pregnant until she had the first baby. Well, I didnt have any baby gates, or a kennel...All I used was the laundry basket to put the babies in...Mom had the kittens in the middle of my bedroom floor. And I moved them after they were all cleaned off. Mom didnt seem to mind, that they were in a tub. As long as you have them somewhere, where its not noisy and that she can get to the easy I wouldnt worry about it. I put mom and babies in my closet and closed the doors just enough that she could get in and out at her own free will. I have never heard of a cat giving birth in a high place. Well Good luck, I am sure somebody else will come around with some more advice.
