anyone else seen this? I just wasted 2 hours of my life watching it. How in the world did Rene Zellweger get the golden globe for best actress in a comedy?!?! I must be watching the wrong movie because this isn't funny.


I'm actually irritated that I sat through this crap.

I didn`t see that, but i did hear it was a bit "odd" shall we say...but i answered, becasue tonight i have just been watching another Rene Zellweger film that was really good; "Briget Jones Diary" it was pretty funny. I can`t say i have seen her in much else?

I'm embarrassed to say that I spent 2 hours last week watching 'Me, myself and Irene' and while not as big of a stinker as NB, it still wasn't very good (IMHO)

Oh man was she in that???? I didn`t see it, but my husband did and he agrees with you and thought it was really really bad!

I was just saying to the SI that Renee has made some poor choices lately. I saw Bridget Jones, and I thought it was okay. I didn't love it but it wasn't nearly as bad as the other 2 that I just mentioned.

I would have to agree, airprincess, on 'Me, Myself & Irene'. Not one of Carey's best films. I have yet to see 'Nurse Betty' OR 'Bridget Jones Diary' although I don't think I'm missing much as far as NB goes. I would still like to see BJD, though.

I don't usually say this, but AVOID NURSE BETTY! I'm disgusted that I watched it all the way through, but I kept thinking, maybe it'll get better and then I thought, well I've invested too much time to stop now.

I haven't seen Nurse Betty, but I will definately NOT be renting it now! It sounds awful!!

Hissy, I saw Swordfish, and I LOVED it!!!! :LOL: Guess we all just like different things. I'm not a big Travolta fan, by anymeans, but I thought it was one of his best movies ever!!!!! I loved the bus scene, where they pull it clear up into the air by cables attached to a plane, and all in all, it was just downright good! IMO It kept me guessing, and surprised me in the end, I like that when I think I know what is going on, and then at the very end, I realize I was wrong. I like being surprised like that, because it is rare, since most usually I have them figured out before the end! I had part of it figured out, but the other thing was totally unexpected by me!

Nurse Betty was stupid & not funny at all! I tried to watch Bridget Jones' Diary & couldn't get thru it. I couldn't stand her fake accent, either!

Swordfish was a good movie.... we bought it on DVD when it came out. Also, I bought Tomb Raider yesterday!

Hey Tigger....were you surprised at the end? (swordfish) I sure was....I can't explain what I mean, 'cause I don't want to give it away for anyone who hasn't seen it....but what I mean is, at the end, the one person there didn't surprise me, but the other one did....didn't expect that!!! Good movie wasn't it?

Oooo I LOVED Bridget Jones Diary!! I was laughing all the way through it!!! I loved the bit where she was all depressed sat on the couch eating comfort food in her pyjamas and just started belting out .."All by myself!!!!" ha ha ha ha it was tooo funny!! I also liked Swordfish, after you got past about the first 10 mins it was quite good!! But I have to agree with AP, "Me myself and Irene" ABSOLUTELY sucked!!!! I HATED it with a passion!! What a complete load of tosh!! Thats just my opinion though......

NB definately not worth the effort. Swordfish wasn't bad & I like the fact that on the video they show the alternative ending. Just rented DeNiro's "15 minutes", disturbing, but good.
