Serious prayers & thoughts please...

If anyone out there believes in the power of prayer, ...

I just got a call from my aunt who informed me that my 38 year old cousin, and my best friend, died in her sleep of sleep apnea.

She married a man 7 years ago and took on 3 little kids...and now those kids are in the tough teen years.

I know Christina was an angel sent to this family....and now I guess God has other plans.

Please send good thoughts...everyone is in shock.

Thank you all for the kind words...we are all just in total shock. Her mom & dad are at the house with the husband and kids......

We talked 2-3 times a week..although we haven't ben able to see each other for about 10 years...she was always trying to get me to move to Montana so the kids could grow up together.

I will always be able to hear her laugh...and that means the world.

I'm so sorry. My brother died of an asthma attack at the same age, but didn't leave 3 kids behind. Your family will be in my thoughts.

That is very scary to even think about...I have asthma and especially in the summer it can get very scary. You just never know what curve ball life will throw

Thank you all for the kind words. It feels like days since this happened and it has only been a few hours...I have a severe headache...thank God I work from home and can stay in my PJs...

Sorry - I didn't want to scare you. My brother lived in an apartment with forced air heat/air conditioning, and a few days before his death a woman with three Persians moved into the apartment next to his. It was just one of those things. He would've been the last to blame the cats.

OH NO!! Don't feel bad...I am ok

...you know, I posted this on another board I visit and one lady came and said thank you for letting peope know sleep apnea is serious..her husband suffers from it and refuses treatment...same thing with asthma I guess...you just never know...things happen...I have asthma and share a house with 5 cats...how crazy am I?? lol

I just keep hoping this is a bad dream.....I talked to her two days ago...we were finally planning a trp to Montana this summer for everyone to meet. Life is so precious...and she was the baby in her own family.

She has a dad in very poor health, a brother in a wheelchair, a sister with down syndrome...you never know, and she drops.

It's equally heartbreaking that now the kids lose another mom. Their birth mom walked out on them when they were little...and now this...not an easy thing to deal with.
