I am brand new to the forum and will try to make this short:
My wife had seen this cat for almost a year at one point the cat had a collar "iceis" we still call her that to this day about a year ago but the owneres abadoned her. Well we finialy captured her and brought her into our home. We have two beagles btw. Well the cat had nipples and we were unsure if she was pregant or had babies. Overnight we fed her and my wife noticed her nipples were full so we let he go low and behold over the next two day she brought us two (1 to 1/12 month) kittens. My brother has taken them in and they were treated and no problems. Well during the 2 months we had her she infected our dogs with fleas and some kind of mites. Well before we could do anything and really I think she got pregant again prior to us getting the kittens she is pregant again. 2 days ago she had 8 kittens. well she is a terror on our dogs when ever they get near the place where she decided to keep them in our home.
My question is when can she get spayded? She is giving milk and caring for the babies so we dont want to disrupt that but we want to care for her and the kittens.

Hi-

You need to keep her indoors, because she will go into heat again and if she gets outside, or if you have an intact male cat, she will become pregnant again. You really can get her spayed anytime after the kittens are at least 6 weeks old. You could spay her now, but while she is at the vet, you would have to be responsible for bottlefeeding the eight kittens, every 2-3 hours round the clock while she is gone. Please do not give the kittens away, please at least charge $5.00 apiece for them, and don't let them go until they are at least 10 weeks old. She will be possessive and territorial with her kittens and that is why she is aggressive with your dogs, she is protecting her family/
