Yep that's me. I think I can handle my way around here because this messege board is like every other one I am in but I just wanted to say HI.

Here are our two cats. We got them 4/4/05 so almost a month ago.

This is Princess... She's 4 1/2. She is a little snot. I have to drag her out from under the bed every evening when I get home from work. Once she's been out for a few minuets she warms up and then she's a lap cat or like righ now she curled up in my blanket in my chair keeping it warm for me. She's very shy and skiddish but she is getting much better.

This is Harvey... He's 2. He is a big tuna. Or a big baby. He loves to roll on his back and let you rub his belly which is what he was doing in this picture.

Just a tip, if you stop dragging Princess out from under the bed, she will come out on her own accord. Her behavior is quite typical of a cat that is scared. If you ignore her, just feed her and make sure her litter pan is clean and she has fresh water, she will relax and come out to see you without you scaring her even more by dragging her from her safe spot.

Welcome Sarah, Princess and Harvey
They are so beautiful! Harvey certainly does look like a big loverboy.

Yea I know I shouldn't do it but once she is out she is a different kitty. I took the afternoon off work today and I left her alone but she never came out. I went and got her out and she walked around, got up in the window which is something she has not done until today. She has also started jumping up in my lap or she will keep my chair warm when my butt isn't in it. So she is comming around slowly but surely.

I had an extremely shy foster named Jill. She loved leftover Popeyes chicken. I worked very hard when I first got her at helping her learn that "Here, Kitty, Kitty" meant come running for treats! It took her a while, and she was definitely more interested in people food than cat treats!

Good luck, and thank you for saving those beautiful babies!
