Before I log off here at work (shame on me), I want to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers.

You are just the greatest group of persons out there!

Thanks again.

OH LINDA, I am so sorry, I just saw this! Prayers coming immediately for your husbands cousin and for your family as well. My cousin Rhonda was run over by a tractor as a child and although she was in a body cast for nearly 8 months she had a full recovery. Please let us know how he is doing. Hugs

Oh that is terrible. I hope you have better news next time you can post about it. My thoughts are with you both.

My sweet MIL called last night. Apparently Paul is stabilized and still in intensive care but doing as well as can be expected. My MIL said he has a lot of bruising (with her heavy Dutch accent I had trouble understanding what she was saying at first - she's such a sweetheart). She said even his heart was bruised. I then put her on to my husband and they talked awhile, but the short story is that he is alive, stabilized and from what I understand expected to recover. I guess it is still unknown how his crushed foot will turn out.

Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts. I absolutely believe they helped.

Linda, good to hear that things are going as well as can be expected at this point. We'll just have to keep the prayers coming, won't we, that his recovery is complete and as quick as possible.
You have mine.

Glad to hear things are looking up! I am very glad to hear that they are expecting him to recover! I will still pray for him.
