Others may disagree with me on this, but I like to feed mine as much as they will eat at least 4 times per day. I think that growing kittens need all the calories they can get in order to feed their developing organs and systems. The rule in my house is -- if the kittens are in the kitchen (normal feeding station), then feed them.

I think at LEAST 4 times a day..their tummies are tiny. We usually fed them every 3 -4 hours and let them decide if they wanted it or not.

But, I normally give them canned food 3 times a day, for five kittens I would suggest two cans for all of them, three times a day, and then leave dry food kitten food in there for them to eat if they want more. And be sure they have plenty of water!

We feed ours twice a day (fresh meat or canned kitten formula) but we leave dry kitten biscuits out for them all the time and of course fresh water.

I feed as often as Gaye has said, but I feed in jar lids not plates or saucers. Two reasons, less mess (because kitties love to walk in their food) plus you don't overfeed them when all you have to fill is a jar lid.
