Hi! Everyone at my work knows how big of an animal lover I am, so they called me when they found a little kitty running around the detail shop of the car dealership I work at. I, of course, came running. They held him in a back room until I could get there.
When I arrived, from outside the window I could see this sweet little tabby, with white patches, sitting in the window-sill shivering! I hurried in there with my cat carrier and realized that the air conditioning vent was blowing straight on him---that's why he was shivering! Bless his heart! He was as sweet as could be! I got out a food dish and some of Juicy's hard food and he attacked it like he hadn't eaten in days! I also noticed that he had some missing fur and a little blood behind his ears, which I assumed were from ear mites (which turned out to be correct). I let him eat half the bowl, then I placed it in the carrier and he walked straight in and let me shut it.
I took him straight to the humane society and they were expecting me. I paid the surrender fee and they took him from there. He will be in quarantine for about a week and then will be up for adoption. I'll keep an eye on him and if he isn't adopted, I will pay the fee so they can give him away "TO GOOD HOME ONLY". I am so happy that he is safe and will be happy now. He is a very good boy.
Here are a couple pictures of him. How old do you all think he is? My guess was from 7 months to a year old, but I'm not sure. These pictures were taken by me at the shelter. He is a lot smaller than he looks in the pictures...
The second is blurry because he was walking up to investigate the camera
They named him "Wonka"
. Please send good vibes his way for a speedy adoption to a very good home (or a return to his original home)!!!
