I found this email on my computer after I came back from dinner:

Mom and Dad and the birds were sissies during the thing they call "power outage". Hmphh... here is our comfort checklist:

1. Do I have food? - Check
2. Do I have Mom/Dad? - Check
3. Do I have a soft place to sleep? - Check
4. Am I warm enough to not have icilces haning from my tail? - Check
5. Will Mom/Dad let me play with the little birds? - NOT Check

... 4/5 Ain't bad.

Hey, kitties. Aren't the humans so silly not to let you play with the birdies so they could get warmed up? I mean, a good chase around the house to get those wings flapping and hearts beating...

Anyway, good luck on #5 of your checklist.
