Hello, for all who dont know me....I have 5 kittens that are a little over 5 weeks old. My question is my kitten Casper, shakes while she eats. Im not sure what could cause this. I feed her in a seperate bowl, because she doesnt seem to want to eat with her family. Any suggestions?

Hi,

I'm no expert but there are plenty of them here, so I'm sure you'll get the help you need. I have a cat that shakes when she eats but she has a disorder of some kind. Does your kitten shake at any other time? It might be worth getting her checked if she does. Is she nervous while she eats? Are the others bigger than her? These are just random thoughts but, as I put, I'm sure someone will have some good advice.

Good luck!

It is only when she eats. The other kittens are slightly bigger than her.

I have had kittens do the same thing and I always thought it was because the food had been refrigerated before I served it ... so I always either warm it with a little water or nuke it and the problem seems to go away. Hrmmm ... a few of my babies have done this, but they are all healthy and quite normal now.
