Sorry 'bout that Diane!

Hub actually had leftovers from the dinner he took to the dr's office, brought me a plate with roast beef, fried green tomatoes, corn and green beans on it. And some apple cobbler for dessert!

I'm craving a real sloppy, roast beef po-boy!!!!! At this little cafe about an hour away, they make the best!!!! The roast beef is sliced sooooo thin that it just melts in your mouth. Then they put gravy on it as well so the bread is moist and tasty!

Oh, I want one soooooooo bad!!!! I'm going down there Sat. - I'll get one then but I'm just not sure if I can wait that long!!!!

I love fried green tomatoes, but I just fry them with no batter. Do you have a recipe or can you tell me how you folks prepare yours?

In the summer I'll often just have fried green tomato with bread and butter for lunch and enjoy it very very much. My problem is finding the green tomatoes. Nobody wants to pick them. We grew our own a few years ago and my husband wouldn't let me pick them green - said I was wasting them. I told him he could have his red and I'll take my share green!

My father in law likes fried green tomatoes.....I've never tried them actually.

I'm not real hungry at the moment......I just had a chocolate chip cookie.

Amazingly no immediate urges-I've got ice cream at home if I want some.
But I can always eat a good pepperoni pizza!!

LOL! I thought about that, after I posted it! Actually, I know that at least two of the posters in it ARE pregnant.... I am NOT one of them! Hey, I think you're the one that asked what I couldn't do? Having a baby is the one thing that I can't do, lol!!

Yeah, I haven't quite made my mind up about it but I'm not sure I could either.

I may change my mind one day, right now I'm just not able to care for one.

BTW, I got to thinking just how harsh my original post must sound, so I went back and edited it a bit, I didn't want to offend you or anything.
When we were younger, I really didn't want any either, neither did hub, as we got older we came to the place where if we did, ok, if not, that was ok too. But in 2003, at 34 years old, I had to have a hysterectomy due to fibroids, so now, if I were to get pregnant, THAT would be a miracle! And I know a certain doctor who would be raising a child too!
