I just went to a show here in Erie. I have to admit I was a tad bit disappointed, but mostly because I didnt have a clue as to what was going on and secondly because I had left my glasses sitting on my desk at work! Maybe next time I will be more prepared knowing what to expect!
I did look for some Siberians, but there werent any (I even asked). Now I know they can be shown in one assoc. but not the other. Is it CFA that they cant and TICA that they can? There was only one Norwegian Forest Cat, and darned if I could find it without my glasses, but there were TONS of Maine Coons and MC entries. Only one Selkirk and he was a short hair
I wish they had brochures to hand out so the 'laymen' would know what the heck they were looking for... maybe I shold suggest this to someone
I believe our local-no-kill-rescue helps put the show on.
I got did a sweatshirt from the Rescue group there, and a lone-over-priced-peacock feather from a vendor.
Which we have to hide cuz it drives Willow NUTS
she luvs to play with it, but when we
are done playing and put the thing up, she goes wild trying to get it. So we have to leave it on the ground until she is convinced she killed it, then when she forgets about it we hide it
