Our 3yr old daughter let our 8 month old inside kitten out the other day, and she was gone for several hours. I would like to think that our little Boo is still "innocent", but ...... We have plans of getting her spayed, but she needed shots first. Now I want to wait to see if she is pregnant before taking her in. I would hate to be spaying a pregnant cat. I would feel as if she had an abortion, and that would be Horrible. So my question is.... How soon will I know? How can I tell?

Honestly you should go ahead with the spay. You have no idea what or how many toms mated with her, and what they introduced to her in that mating, and that can cause heartache sometimes during the birth process.

Your vet would be the one to be able to tell you if she is pregnant, though he won't know right now, because it is so recent.
