Sui's little shaved spay belly

Sui has been a real trooper since her surgery. Since her spay she's gotten her own bedroom!

She's in our spare bedroom and she even has a little ramp to get into the bed. Here is one of her this afternoon, look at that little cute speckled belly!!



You can barely see it but they went a little overboard with the clippers.

And finally, I had to get one of her precious little face!!!

She looks like she's doing well. When did you have her spayed, Kelly?

awwww sweet Sui!!! She is soo beautiful!!! I remember getting Fluffy spayed, they had put pink stitches on her belly..it was cute..but it took her a couple days to get back to her normal self again....thanks for posting her pic! she is just a sweetheart!

I dropped her off Thursday morning and picked her up on Friday morning, Jenn. This was by far the hardest one to leave at the vet's office overnight!!! She had never spent the night without me (I'd never spent the night without HER). I've even taken her with me when I go out of town.

Aww, thanks! Little Sui didn't get pink stitches!!! She would be sooo jealous of Fluffy

Thanks Katherine!! She has been SUCH a trooper. Too good, in fact. I'm having a heck of a time keeping her calm. She was playing with a scrunchie today and I swear she was doing front flips in the air!!! I may end up having to hog tie her

Thanks Yayi. I think she's a sweetie, too. I hated seeing her go through getting spayed, but we all know why it's best. I don't think I could handle having children, I think I would worry myself to death!!

Glad you liked them, Sam!!! In her mind, she's already recovered. However, I'm watching her every move like a hawk so that she doesn't reopen her incision. I think I worry too much

Oh my! Sui, you precious little baby! You're just so adorable! Sierra and I love you sooo much! Is Mommy spoiling you with your very own bedroom, and even a special ramp just for you? I just want to kiss your sweet tummy and your darling little face! Kelly, your baby is just so beautiful with the most gorgeous coloring! I love her distinct hind left foot! You're taking such wonderful care of her, as always!

this is my first cat and i just got her spayed on staurday. i started crying when i saw her little shaved belly. that's why i signed in here. my buttercup has swelling around where she got stiched up and i was worried it might not be normal. does anyone know about this sort of thing?
