Oh, I hear ya... too much work, and I tend to burn everything!
If you have high cholesterol, perhaps the Lean Cuisine pizza would be in order...

I haven't cooked too much lately, because like Vespa said, by the time you cook it, & clean up, it is just a lot of bother! If I just microwave something or pick up a pizza the clean up is QUICK! But I'm overweight, and dh's cholesterol is rather high, so I need to get better at it.

Hopefully, hub decided on something while he was at the grocery store today, if not, I have my suspicions that it will be another bowl of Frosted Flakes! I have discovered that there is one good thing about him cooking at the bakery for lunch and not wanting to cook for dinner.....I've lost 8 lbs in the past two weeks!

ITs barilla maccheroni with the Barilla Jar of Basilico. Its actually really good quality for jar food IMO!
I love Barrilla spagetti sauce! It's my favorite, but quite expensive here. I buy it when its on sale, though!

He can always add salt. You can't take it out.

Not sure what it's going to be for us, but I'm thinking I haven't done pork chops for a while....we'll see.

Congrats on the weight loss Cindy!
That is, if you're trying to lose.

I ACTUALLY COOKED! I'm just baking the casserole in the oven now... Mixed cooked pasta, tomato sauce, fresh tomato chunks, and put in a casserole dish and layered cheese in the middle and on top!

Hey maybe you can pick me up from the airport on your scooter. Do you have room for 2?
I wish I had one, they look like loads of fun. Will they even let southerners over the border?
j/k I've been to Toronto many times, it's an awesome city. One of my roomates from college was from Toronto too (and an ex-fiancee from Toronto).

Yeah, I would probably get there in about, oh... a day or so!

Scooters are lots of fun... the more vintage you get the more high maintenance (and less fun!) it becomes.
Plus my new Vespa is pretty slow... but I need to sell one of them, and I'm not into too much maintenance.

I'm imagine traveling across the border wouldn't be unlike driving a car. In fact, I remember a number of people came up for a rally from Cleveland on their scoots a few years back. In fact, there were more Americans than Canadians at that rally, and they ALL had their scoots in tow.

Toronto has its charms... but I find the cost of living completely unreasonable, taking the average wage into consideration. Unfortunately, that's why we have an increasingly large gap between the rich and the working poor in this city.

Thanks, Jenn! I could stand to lose about 60 more, so it's a good thing!

We wound up having country fried steak with gravy, mashed potatoes, corn and english peas tonight.!

Well, the pork chops I thought we were going to have didn't happen, because there weren't any in the freezer.
All that was left in the pork chops box were a few odd shaped bits of stuff. However, they were quite amenable to being cut into bite-sized pieces and marinated, while some wehani rice got mostly cooked. Then they got browned and some sauteed mushroom and onion added, and a little vermouth, and simmered while the rice finished. Add a few snap peas, and there's dinner. Rob thinks I need to find a name for it.
